Typical Meteorological Year for Solar Energy applications (version 1.0)

The first version of the Typical Meteorological Year for Solar Energy applications (AMTUes) was generated with data from the Estanzuela experimental station, Colonia (National Institute for Agronomical Research, INIA) for the 1969-1977 period (8 years). The AMTUes v1.0 consists of 365 typical daily values for 10 variables of interest for the simulation of solar energy conversion devices.

Location: Colonia (warm-temperate zone, South-West)

AMTUes v1.0 meteorological variables:

Global irradiation in horizontal plane Global irradiation in a 35º tilted plane
Average temperature (in 24hs) Thermal amplitude (in 24hs)
Maximum temperature (in 24hs) Minimum temperature (in 24hs)
Average ambient relative humidity Average wind speed (at 2 meters)
